About the event
Also known as Winter solstice or Midwinter, this sabbat marks the longest night and shortest day of the year, the peak of winter. This sabbat is named after the Germanic and Scandinavian winter festival of the same name! Traditionally this holiday is celebrated for 7-10 days ending on the 28th or on the first of the year.
Some things to do for this solstice are: create a wreath, make a fire and roast some marshmallows, celebrate time with friends and family, light candles with runes or sigils, make home blessings for the new year.
