This is my personal protection oil I have been using for many years .
I use this oil to anoint candles and draw sigils and wear on my body. It’s extremely versatile and so potent. As you make this you will want to infuse your intent and energy into it. Mediate with it after.
You will need the following items for this spell:
* Powdered dragon's blood or (sandalwood) - increases the potency & heightens ritual energy. It has healing & banishing properties. Resin/sap from a rattan palm tree, known as Daemonorops draco & is harvested in Sumatra. Historically the 'Bleeding' sap of the 'dragon' tree, resembled blood, and was harvested in order to make a paste to help heal wounds and protect an individual from infections, creating a 'natural bandaid' upon the skin.
* Sea salt - multitude of uses but for this-cleansing and protection properties. Sea salts are sacred to water deities while remaining a mineral of the Earth
* Frankincense - one of the oldest documented magical resins. 5000 years. It comes from the Boswellia sacra tree. In spells - booster, purifier, protector.
* Myrrh - resin. Strong protection, purifying and banishing properties. Strong enough to break hexes. eastern medicine uses it for its restorative properties because it’s uplifting and will boost the spirits..
* Castor oil - Ruled by Mars and the Element of Fire. Castor oil makes a great carrier oil for blends that deal with protection and absorbing negativity.
* Olive oil (optional) - Ruled by the Sun and the Element of Fire. In a lot of traditions it’s a multipurpose oil
* Ginger - success, protection, power to the spell
* Cinnamon - success/booster, power & protection
Blend powdered dragon's blood and sea salt together with a mortar and pestle (or anything you prefer).If you're using solid resins, grind frankincense and myrrh together with these also.
Add these to the castor oil. You may wish to add Jojoba oil as a preservative, so that the oil will flow nicely. If you're using essential oils, then add frankincense and myrrh now.
Add ground ginger and cinnamon.
Note: Just be aware that these are skin irritants and may limit the uses of the oil.
